I always think of my brother Joe when I come across a new misuse of the English language. He was more of a language maven than I, even though I got paid for it. This new atrocity was in a brochure I got from Dell, the computer folks:
Buy now.
Save even bigger.
Do people actually talk this way? Do they say, "I saved bigger"?
